The guy on the left, I’m pretty sure you know.
The guy on the right is Jeremy Meadows, Senior Manager for Strategy and Integration at Nissan USA, and dig the tie Jeremy’s wearing, too!
You’ve heard Jeremy on the podcast before, back in April, when we were talking to him about how the creation of the Rogue One Limited Edition Nissan Rogue led him to some amazing Star Wars experiences. Well, for The Last Jedi, Nissan went bigger and bolder. Instead of one customer car build, they did seven. They created a wicked fun “Customize Your Craft” interactive tool that lets you design an ideal First Order or Resistance-inspired vehicle. And they made a huge splash at the premiere of The Last Jedi in Hollywood on December 9.
In this bonus episode of the podcast, brought to you by our partners at Nissan, I’m talking with Jeremy about the behind-the-scenes details that went into the “Customize Your Craft” campaign, how Lucasfilm’s design team overdelivered on their custom car concepts, what it was like to attend the world premiere event, and how Jeremy – a lifelong Star Wars fan himself – got to meet his childhood hero, Mark Hamill.
