We’re inside a zone now where Star Wars fans are starting to be very careful about what they choose to consume in terms of Star Wars news, prior to the release of The Last Jedi. Anthd as a fan, I’m in that same place.
So you can rest assured that here on the podcast, from now until the release of the movie, I won’t be covering anything about The Last Jedi unless it’s an officially approved release of information – i.e., an Entertainment Weekly story, which I suspect is in the works.
There’s an Adam Driver interview out there that may contain or hint at a spoiler for the movie, and while those are the kinds of things I’ve reported on when we were further out from the release – with a warning in advance, of course – that’s the sort of thing that I’m not going to cover between now and the movie release, because even *I* don’t want to know it.
In this episode, I’m talking about the news of a DJ#1 one-shot from Marvel that will tell us what was happening with Benicio del Toro’s character right up until his appearance in The Last Jedi, and the excerpt from “The Ride,” John Jackson Miller’s contribution to the four-novella collection that comprises the Canto Bight book coming in December, two weeks before the movie.
