Some of people knocked J.J. Abrams for The Force Awakens, claiming that it was for all intents and purposes a knock-off of the original Star Wars.
For the folks who thought that, Episode IX might come as a shock, since it may have to bear an even closer resemblance to A New Hope to make it work.
On today’s episode of the podcast, I’m looking at the situation Rian Johnson left J.J. in with the events of The Last Jedi – particularly in regard to the fates of the Resistance, the First Order, and Luke and Leia.
