Maybe.
Maybe you’re one of the folks who had a hard time suspending your disbelief when you watched the Resistance bomber sequence in The Last Jedi. “Bombs can’t drop when there’s no gravity in space!” you might have said. Or maybe, “Why the heck did they stay so close together when they were all carrying giant loads of bombs, and could all just blow each other up instead?”
Well, there have been a few logical answers posed, but none so compelling as what Jason Fry has written for DK Publishing’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi Incredible Cross-Sections. (And a tip of the hat to the DK Publishing folks who sent me a copy to review and dissect, too!) On today’s podcast, I’ll be discussing Jason’s answers to these weighty questions – answers, I might add, that were written WAY before anyone saw Star Wars: The Last Jedi in theaters.
And we’ll also talk about why the bombers weren’t around for the attack on Starkiller Base, too!
