“I just think that there’s something so special about a Star Wars film, and less is more.”
“Too many”; Star Wars “hiatus”. “more than film franchises”.
These are words straight from Iger.
The recent “if” from Rian Johnson.
We’re not going back to an annualmovie for a long, long time. And there is no way in heck that if we have no movie until 2022 that we’re getting 3 Rian Johnson movies (which would then take us out to 2026). No way that he’s going to cover nearly a decade of SW by himself. The 2022 movie is likely Fiege. Replacing B&W. If (and I doubt it) RJ is getting anything, it’s a TV show. That way his damaged goods could still appeal to those that liked TLJ.
