Flagging Episode #1,000 of Star Wars 7×7 for celebration is the easiest thing to do.
Why, you may ask?
Well, it’s all due to how you reckon the 1,000. For example:
–If you count all of the bonus episodes I’ve done (20), then I’m already past the 1K milestone, and this is the 1,019th one.
–If you count by numbered episodes, you could make a case for this very episode being the 1,000th one, since there was an Episode #0 at the very beginning.
–If you count by consecutive days of podcasting, technically, since the podcast went live on 7/7/14, today is day 997 of consecutive podcasting days. The 1,000th consecutive day will be April 2nd.
But “Episode #1,000” is a situation that’s easily understood. So I’m going with that one!
In today’s episode, I’m looking back in the archives and revealing:
–The shortest and longest episodes
–Which episode gets my goat in terms of its length
–How long it would take to listen to the entire Star Wars 7×7 archive if you listened 24 hours a day without stopping
–How I filled the days before the first Force Awakens trailer made things so much easier
–And lots more!
Also, a quick reminder: Patrons of the show at the $3.27 level or higher as of March 30, 2017 will receive a free digital copy of my upcoming Force Awakens trivia book!
