That’s the taste we get of Aftermath: Empire’s End, the final novel in the Aftermath trilogy by Chuck Wendig. Kicking off with a “Lobot, we’re home” line from Lando that echoes Han’s line from The Force Awakens, the excerpt on Gizmodo features a conversation about the impending birth of a certain child, and Lando’s hilarious idea for a baby gift.
I’m digging into all the details of the excerpt today, and how it ties into the previous novels of the trilogy as well as the canonical mobile game Star Wars: Uprising.
