    Hi Allen,

I’ve been listening to the show since you were about 40 episodes in. It didn’t take long to get caught up and now I just load up a week’s worth of SW7X7 and binge listen.

I listen to another podcast called Talkin’ Toons, hosted by Rob Paulsen who is a legend in voice acting. He’s known as Raphael on the 80’s/90’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and now does the voice of Donatello on the current version of TMNT. He also voiced Yakko, Pinky and Dr. Otto Scratchansniff. He’s done many other voices, I won’t list them all here, that’s what IMDB is for.

Anyway, he had Mark Hamill on his show. It was recorded back in May of 2012, so there’s no talk of The Force Awakens on it, but there is some interesting things said about the OT. One such thing he mentions is that Robert Englund, Mr. Freddy Krueger himself, was the one that encouraged Mark to audition for Star Wars. Rob and Mark don’t talk a lot about Star Wars, but if you want to hear Mark Hamill sing the theme songs to some old TV shows, then by all means, have a listen.

I do know that Rob did a more recent episode involving Star Wars Rebels, but I have nit heard that one yet since I am still catching up on old episodes.

Keep up the good work with the podcast, Allen!

      Hi Dan,

Thanks very much for your comment! I gotta say, the more I learn and hear about Mark Hamill this past year, the more respect I’ve developed for him. Not that I disrespected him, I just hadn’t given him much thought. It seemed like he was doing well with his voiceover work, and I was happy for him, but he never seemed to make the same “splash” that Harrison or Carrie did, and I always thought that was kind of a bummer.

Now, it seems, he’s finally back in his element, and it looks like he’s having a wicked lot of fun in the process. I hope this gets him in a lot more high-profile movies from now on!

  2. Hi Allen, great Podcasts. My family & I are new listeners and so far, we really enjoy your 7×7 segments.

In response to your episode 577 episode: “Now What!?!”

I wanted to give you and your listeners my Pinterest page to explore “The Force Awakens”. I’ve made the page only for my love of Star Wars and earn no money for doing so.

I’m sure they will find something to keep them busy until Dec 17, 2017 πŸ™‚

  3. Dear Allen, I am Robin Lee and I lived in New Hampshire for most of my life. I lived near the estate of artist, Maxfield Parrish. Twenty years ago I filmed and documented the senseless demise of the iconic estate art studio of pop culture artist, Maxfield Parrish. Filmmaker George Lucas said that it was the art work of Maxfield Parrish that directly inspired the feel and look of his Star Wars films, the Lucas Effect, page 282. I have that whole amazing world on film and it is extraordinary. I have worked on this epic story for years and I have uncovered so many major discoveries that are vital to the art world and the world of Star Wars. That studio was steeped in art and Star Wars history and I have a huge story to tell, I was even contacted by Lucas films a long time ago about what I had- and back then I had not known of these discoveries that I have recently unearthed. * I believe that Star Wars truly began in that art studio of Maxfield Parrish around 1904. This goes way beyond a higher level of Star Wars topics and I was glad to hear that you are located in N.H. I must get in contact with you, I just signed up minutes ago for your email please email me back and we can talk, not tech savvy here, but what a story I have and so much more. Robin Lee,,,, the force does exist. This is major and explosive. ||

  4. A huge article out of the UK was just released about some of my research and it is epic, this is new and unknown George Lucas- Maxfield Parrish info, please read it and pass it on, look up —
( The Game of Nerds origins of Star Wars the case for Maxfield Parrish ).

This is the true beginning of Star Wars. This is excellent pop cast material so that all may weigh in, the brain needs this.
    Thank u, Robin Lee

    Hi Allen,

It has been a while since I posted here but I just wanted to let you know that I am still a listener and a Patreon of your podcast. I sometimes comment on your posts on Facebook.
How are you doing? I hope everything is ok with you and your family.
Did you fully recover from COVID? Or do you still have some nasty long-term symptoms.
Anyway, I still love your podcast and I hope you will be able to continue making it as long a possible!

    Take care!

Hi Christophe! Yes, I do know, and thank you again so much – you’ve been a listener and a supporter for a LONG time! πŸ™‚

My wife and son are entirely recovered, and my other son still either hasn’t gotten it or if he did was entirely asymptomatic, thank you for asking.

I get a little cough now and again that’s very much like the one I had when I had COVID (which was different from any cough I had had – it was more like the cough I would get as a kid after playing outside in smoggy Los Angeles in the summers of the late 70s/early 80s).

      How have you been doing?

Hi Allen, good to hear you are doing fine. A cough from time to time doesn’t sound too bad.
I know people who are after 6 month still unable to go to work because they are too tired and completely out of breath when going up or coming down the stairs.

My family and I are doing fine. We have been COVID free ar were all asymptomatic.
I finally got my first shot of the vaccine and if I look at the vaccination program going at a steady pace, I have hopes that the end of the tunnel is close! πŸ˜‰

    Take care.

Hi Allen, I listen to and enjoy your Podcast daily. Recently the show has been getting cut off at the end mid sentence, not sure if it’s my device, Spotify or something on your end. Everything is up to date on my iPad. Thought you might want to check into it. Thanks. Joe
