Even if you haven’t seen a certain Star Wars movie yet, you’ve probably already gathered from trailers and commercials and cast interviews that porgs are used for comic effect on multiple occasions during The Last Jedi.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Writer/director Rian Johnson set out to have fun with this darker entry in the Star Wars saga – it is a middle-of-the-trilogy movie, after all, but that doesn’t mean it can’t have its funny moments.
On today’s spoiler-filled episode, I’m looking at the funniest physical comedy moments from The Last Jedi (but not all of them – the podcast went over its normal length as it is!), and working up to a decision about whether The Last Jedi is, in fact, the funniest Star Wars movie where physical comedy is concerned. I’m also considering how it compares to the two other middle movies, Attack of the Clones and The Empire Strikes Back.
Got a favorite physical comedy moment from any of the Star Wars movies? Share them in the comments! (Except for The Last Jedi-related moments – no spoilers on the blog here yet, please. Thanks!)
