Welcome back for the second half of my conversation with Brian Jay Jones, author of the new biography, George Lucas: A Life! We’re picking up right where we left off, talking about how different it is to do a biography that’s unauthorized – including dealing with the fact that your normal publisher, which also publishes Lucasfilm books, can’t risk its relationship by publishing your book, so you have to go through another publisher.
Also as part of the conversation, we’re going to get into things like what the most formative moments of Lucas’ life are, and the responsibility of writing an authoritative biography that will convey the importance of Lucas’ place in history for generations to come. Heady stuff!
To connect with Brian, hit him up on Twitter (his most active channel), and if you’re so inclined, check out his Facebook Page and blog, too.
Here’s where you can get the book on Amazon, and you can also win one by commenting on the Facebook post embedded here about something you liked or enjoyed from the interview. The person whose comment has the most likes/comments/shares as of Tuesday, 12/13 at 9am EST will win the book! (So you might want to, you know, share this post with your friends and ask them to support your comment.)
