If the font choice of “The Force Awakens” looked different and yet familiar to you, you may be fascinated to know that it’s ITC Serif Gothic, which The Verge points out is the same font used in early newspaper advertisements for the original Star Wars. And if you thought, like I did, that it looked a little Star-Trek-y, then that article will also confirm your suspicions with a picture of the poster for the first Star Trek movie.
