We’re continuing our look into the series of hard-to-find interviews conducted with George Lucas, given while principal photography was in full swing for the best-loved film in the franchise! These come from the book Once Upon a Galaxy: The Making of The Empire Strikes Back, by Alan Arnold. It’s the production journal of the press agent working for Lucasfilm during Empire, and since it takes place in the times before everyone was hyper-aware of the public image and personas they were creating, there’s an honesty and freshness here that’s very rare in our world now.
