i hope ackmena is gonna be straight not a lesbian like chuck wrote her.im nothing against gay people but i don´t want old characters to be gay even if there sexuality was never stated before.if lucasfilm wants to make gay characters it as to be new characters not old characters

Yup, you’re right that they’re still all Legends! But they are certainly making moves to re-canonize elements of it, at least as early as 2016 by bringing Ackmena into canon (according to Wookieepedia in “Complete Locations”). I’m pretty confident that making her non-hetero in any canon story pretty much assures she’s gonna stay non-hetero. My own personal take, I think it’s an interesting way to retcon some diversity into an otherwise by-all-appearances rather un-diverse OT. Thanks for the comments!
