New York Comic Con has come and gone, but it sure left us with some new and interesting story news from the land of Star Wars canon!
StarWars.com has the official rundown, and Amy Ratcliffe from Full of Sith has a more detailed wrap-up while writing for IGN. To keep it easy for you, here’s the scoop:
Star Wars: Tales from a Galaxy far, far away: Aliens is a collection of short stories featuring “background aliens” from The Force Awakens
Star Wars: Bait and Star Wars: The Perfect Weapon focus on Grumgarr and Bazine, two new characters from The Force Awakens.
Star Wars: New Republic: Bloodline, set approximately six years before The Force Awakens, coming Spring 2016.
Star Wars: Aftermath: Life Debt and Star Wars: Aftermath: Empire’s End, the remaining books in his Aftermath trilogy, coming Summer 2016 and Summer 2017, respectively.
Life Debt? Gotta be about Han and Chewie heading to Kashyyyk, right? And Empire’s End is the most puzzling in a way, since it’s scheduled to come out even after Episode VIII debuts. Won’t the Empire’s end be old news to us by then? Perhaps not, but you think we’d have a pretty good handle on things after two major movies…
