From time to time, I talk about memories of seeing Star Wars movies as a kid in the theater, and what the experience was like back in the day. But there’s someone who has an even better handle on that experience – my Mom. And while we’ve been broadcasting from Malibu, CA these last few days, we’ve also had the chance to have my Mom over for Thanksgiving dinner.
Afterward, I invited her to join the podcast for some Star Wars reminiscences. We talk about the experience of seeing each of the Original Trilogy movies in the theater back in the day, and how Star Wars appealed to my Mom even though sci-fi was never her thing.
