Well, the Star Wars movie ride just got a little wilder. From the fan perspective, this one came out of nowhere – Colin Trevorrow is done as the director and co-writer of Episode IX. At this point, it’s impossible to tell whether he’ll even get any kind of story credit (along with his writing partner Derek Connolly). Jack Thorne is still on the job, wrestling with the script – or at this point, heck, maybe they could (or already did) toss the old one out and start over.
Since this one wasn’t telegraphed, I’ve turned to the trades, which turned to their sources, to find out the scoop, and I’m talking about that on today’s podcast. And for your own reading pleasure…
