On The Star Wars Show yesterday, hosts Andi Gutierrez and Peter Townley announced that Rogue One “standees” would be hitting 100 IMAX theaters in the USA and Canada soon, with hidden messages in Aurabesh text. Hidden messages, you say? Interesting!
There’s also a contest going on, where if you snap a pic of yourself in front of a standee and post it along with the hashtag #RogueIMAXSweeps, you could win a trip to Los Angeles for a Rogue One screening at IMAX headquarters. I checked out the “more details” link (here it is), and lo and behold, an image of the standee is there – which is at a high enough resolution where you can read all the characters.
Now, maybe you’re the curious type, who wants to know what the hidden messages are, but you don’t want to go through all the trouble of translating the Aurabesh to English – let alone figure out what’s actually a message in the sea of Aurabesh gibberish on the standee. Well, in today’s podcast, I’m sharing the details. In fact, heck, I’ll even post them all here for you! (But subscribe to the podcast anyway, will you? Just search “Star Wars 7×7” on your favorite podcast app.)

1st time to see your site…awsome!
You told us, quite some time ago, that it takes about 2 hours to complete the show…and what about the rest of it?
Heck, I think you are really busy…

Thank you so much, Pioter! Thankfully, much of the rest of it is on autopilot. The distribution of the audio file, and some of the social media sharing, happens automatically. All I have to do is upload the MP3 file of the show, and LibSyn (the podcast host) does the rest.
